Even the stork in the sky
knows her appointed seasons,
and the dove, the swift and the thrush
observe the time of their migration.
But my people do not know
the requirements of the Lord. – Jeremiah 8:7
Pointed out in “Wisdom Gained from His Word” are some benefits of the wisdom gained from the study of Jeremiah 8. In light of Jeremiah’s warning, the proper response is to return to the steady, life‑giving pattern of seeking the Lord. To begin by reading His Word where the treasures found will never let you down, because they anchor your life in Truth that does not shift with circumstances. When you fill your mind with the Good News of the Gospel, you discover a freedom that reshapes how you think, live, and hope. From that place of freedom, the path becomes simple and strong — follow the Lord, believe His promises, and obey His guidance, trusting that He leads you into life that is whole and lasting.
To keep this posture of obedience that keeps your heart aligned with Him and leads you in the direction God desires, here is a song called All of Creation by MercyMe. The song celebrates the freedom we have in Jesus, reminding us that every part of creation lifts its voice in praise because of what He has done. Freed by His sacrifice and love, we join the chorus of all He has made—bringing honor, worship, and adoration to the King. It’s a powerful picture of heaven and earth responding together to the One who restores, redeems, and reigns.

A beautiful reminder that God’s Word doesn’t just inform us—it anchors us. Jeremiah’s warning lands with weight: creation knows its rhythms, but God’s people can forget His ways. Returning to Scripture really is the steadying grace that keeps our hearts aligned with Him. I love how you tie that to the freedom the Gospel brings and the call to walk in simple obedience. And the MercyMe song is a fitting echo—creation praising the One who redeems and restores. Thank you for pointing us back to the only treasures that never shift or disappoint.
