I am The Door ~

The key to being a disciple is connecting the power of God to others. You might have something someone needs today and this might make all the difference in helping them. Here is a poem to share with others today that might be that key to help them unlock the power. Have a wonderful weekend!

I am The Door ~ CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann

I am the door,
you’ve been looking for
if you enter in . . .
I’ll save you from your sin.

I’ll give you a peace,
guaranteed not to ever cease
for inside you will find
a resting place for your mind.

Once you accept admission,
you needn’t My permission
to the promises in store . . .
once you step through the door.

They are there for the taking,
there can be no mistaking
the Power you will receive
the moment in Me you believe.

When you leave My sight,
you will go out with My might
by My strength you will tell
how you escaped, going to hell.

You will find green pastures,
right up until the rapture . . .
for I will always be with you
as My work for Me you do!

Constrict Conflict

We all face conflict at times. Restricting conflict by being kind and praying for ideas to get through the situation is what this poem inspires.

Mark Shields's avatarStep Ahead

When there is kindness,
Compassion is imparted.
Communication is important
To get harmony started.

The help given to others
Will be given back
So if one is kind,
Kindness is given back.

Intentions are communicated
To meet one another in peace.
There is respect in the relationship
And conflicts start to cease.

Going Toward That Ultimate Reward

Life can be difficult as we struggle at times, make the wrong decisions, or when life just doesn’t turn out to be like we thought it would be. We sometimes forget about the ultimate reward God has for us.

As we go through life and get closer to the final destination day by day, there is always a brighter future to look forward to. Such was the case with the penitent criminal written about in the post Eternal Life in Paradise who was being crucified with Jesus on the cross. He knew that he was being punished justly but sought everlasting deliverance. He asks Jesus to remember him and was rewarded with eternal paradise (v 43).

Today’s video is about this final destination that brings joy and hope for those who can say, “It is well with my soul”: Finally Home – MercyMe.

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him. – James 1:12

Eternal Life In Paradise

In Luke 23:32-43, we get the recorded account of Jesus being crucified on the cross along with two criminals. The people and rulers watching the execution mocked Jesus saying, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself”. One of the criminals being executed wanted Jesus to use His power to save them. The other criminal criticized him saying, “We are being punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But Jesus has done nothing wrong (v. 41).”

In studying the attitudes of the two criminals, one is seeking deliverance from death in this world. The other is accepting that he will die physically but is seeking deliverance from eternal death and for gaining eternal life in paradise. He said to Jesus, “Remember me when You come into Your kingdom (v. 42).” Jesus answers him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise (v. 43).”

Those that seek only rewards of this world are impenetrable to the gospel. Like the criminal that wanted deliverance from death in this world, many look at things like money, cars, vacations, etc. as the ultimate rewards in life but Jesus teaches about rewards that last forever like our relationship with God and the moments when we make a positive impact in the lives of others.

This day with You Father God, we seek Your eternal reward in paradise. Our victory comes from You. Knowledge and faith in this victory changes momentum for our days ahead and it is a gift we can share with others. The Cross is a plus sign for us and our mission is clear … share about this plus sign with others. Amen!

Be A Believer In The Redeemer

In the post Total Attention on the Mission, written about was that Pilate and Herod did not find a reason to crucify Jesus. Pilate did what was politically correct in his day and time. In order to keep his job as a politician, he took the easy way out by doing what the people wanted.

In present times, we face the same situations. The world wants to convince us that God is not who He says He is but as we go through each day; taking walks and feeling the fresh breeze hitting our face and hearing the sounds of night that sooths our soul, we know the world is telling a lie and the ONE who created the breeze and unique music of the night is telling us the truth.

As we go through life, things can get messy but God is there to help us pick up the messes. The Redeemer makes everything new and provides for our final victory. This day with God, celebrate with this inspiring video: The Redeemer – Sanctus Real.

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. – Psalm 16:8
