God called Jeremiah for a purpose, just as He has appointed each of us, inviting us to let our desire to serve Him rise higher than the fear that tries to paralyze. As we focus on what truly matters — building up our faith, acknowledging His power, and standing in awe of our Creator — we learn to give Him every part of our lives. Jeremiah exposed the missteps of his nation, yet even in that warning we hear a hopeful lesson: God’s grace is enough. We can turn from the wrong path and follow the way of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, stepping into the fullness of the purpose He has prepared.
God has a purpose for us in all stages of life. It may be as teenager deciding what type of career to pursue, a college student, a young professional, a leader within a business or organization, or someone nearing or already in retirement. At all stages of life, the Bible is helpful in providing what is needed to do great things for God’s glory.
