Contending with Difficulty

To you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. – Philippians 1:29

In the post “Bridge the Gap”, we are reminded of the unjust suffering that Jesus went through for our salvation. He is our example to follow when we contend with difficulties. Many times, we face unjust suffering for taking actions that do not fit what out of touch authorities say to do. We are controlled with regulation, censorship, or suppression.

Today’s song is about handling the difficulties we face by letting God carry us out of situation. We can contend with these difficulties and be sharpened with fortitude, endurance, and wisdom. The effect is growth, energy, and gained experience that enables greater depth in ministry to others.

  1. Great job in finding a complementary song to the article. Love this: ” We can contend with these difficulties and be sharpened with fortitude, endurance, and wisdom. ”

    Blessings.
