My heart has leaned into the study of Jeremiah 25 to build something that lasts—not just for today, but for every tomorrow. Out of this pursuit, a worship song has emerged—born from scripture, shaped by reflection, and filled with encouragement because when we walk with God, we get to a happy ending.

The Right Trail

Verse 1
I was walkin’ the wrong path, like a troubled child,
Turnin’ from His Way, still runnin’ wild.
Tryin’ to quiet down the storm inside,
Kept on searchin’ far and wide.
But every road I took just led me back
To the Shepherd callin’ me from my track.

Pre-Chorus
And when I lifted my eyes, I finally could see—
His mercy was still reachin’ out for me.

Chorus
Now I’m focused on the right path where His power protects,
Where His Light shines brightly and His grace perfects.
He’s got a plan for every woman and every man,
A purpose to carry, a mission to stand.
We’re called to make an impact on this generation,
To shape a new destiny for this great nation.
A new story in our history—
Authored by Jesus, who brings victory.

Verse 2
He gives instructions for the steps I take,
Strength for the battles and the moves I make.
No more wanderin’ with an empty heart—
He’s rebuildin’ my life, part by part.
And now I’m standin’ tall in His redeeming love,
Guided by the One who reigns above.

Bridge
From the ashes of the old roads, He’s liftin’ me higher,
Settin’ my spirit on Holy Ghost fire.
What the world tried to break, He’s makin’ whole—
Jesus is the Author and Keeper of my soul.

Final Chorus
So, I’m walkin’ on the right path where His power protects,
Where His Light shines brightly and His grace perfects.
He’s got a plan for every woman and every man,
A purpose to carry, a mission to stand.
We’re called to make an impact on this generation,
To shape a new destiny for this great nation.
A new story in our history—
Authored by Jesus, who brings victory.
