Mercies in Disguise

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28

A guy prays every day … Lord, please make me win the lottery. He prays this for over and over until one day he hears a voice from above, would you kindly go and buy a lottery ticket.

As pointed out in the post “Encouragement for the Challenges”, there are steps we must take in order to receive God’s blessings. To apply our faith, the first step is to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Then to keep on believing, passionately living out those dreams, maintaining hope, and never giving up.

As the song Blessings by Laura Story inspires, the trials of life may be God’s mercies in disguise because it is during the trials that we find out He is with us.
