Finding Out What God Wants From Us

In studying and writing about 1 Chronicles 17:1-15 in the previous post, David certainly wanted to do good but we must understand that what God wants from us might be different than what we want.

We need to accept that we require the abundant life given through His Son who fills our hearts with peace and our minds with rest. Let Him handle our yesterdays and tomorrows so we can focus on our today. With this thought in mind, I’d like to share this video as a pick-me-up for your day: At The Foot Of The Cross – Don Moen.

This day with God will be amazing because He will provide music for our ears, laughter for our soul and a rainbow after every storm.

About Mark Shields

Mark volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. Each of the studies are designed to help apply our faith in the work place, at school, or at home. Join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.

You are welcome Elleh. There are days when the challenges of life are difficult and a song like this one helps to remind us that there is peace and there is rest. God bless your day!
