Treasures of Transformation

This day with God, let us take in the discipline from His Word found in Titus 3 which explains that our attitude and behavior in society should be to respect authority, be obedient, helpful, considerate, gentle, and peaceful.

The grace of God transforms and frees us from foolishness, disobedience, envy, and hate. We are reborn when we accept Christ as Savior and renewed by the Holy Spirit to do good things that are excellent and beneficial for all.

Live productive lives by being devoted to excellence and storing up spiritual treasures. Jewels are found by daily reading the Word of God. Other treasures are found when we discover the finest qualities in others and let them know about it. It gives valuable benefit to us and to those around us.

Because of accepting Christ as Savior, we have the Holy Spirit with the power to change and become more like Christ each day. We are disciplined to spend some time with You Lord and this leads to progress and joy. We are storing up spiritual treasures as we discover Your work in our lives. Amen.

Power in You

This day with God, aim for perfection, reflect, and live in peace. Examine yourself, test yourself, and believe that unlimited power is in you. Here is a poem to inspire these thoughts.

Mark Shields's avatarStep Ahead

Before there was weakness
Without Christ by our side
But now there is strength
With power inside.

We’ve accepted God’s love
And reach up high
To the intangibles of faith
With power to apply.

Integrating faith
With a lifestyle
By starting each day
With a big smile.

Being of one mind,
Aiming for perfection,
Dreaming big dreams,
Listening for direction.

Carrying out a plan
The Spirit draws
Like Relay for life
Or any great cause.

Flourish

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. – 1 Peter 1:18-19

The post “Sure Victory in Life” gives some thoughts and ideas about accepting Christ as Savior to bring sure victory in life and flourish.  Then sharing from generation to generation the values taught.

Each generation or group within society has different needs and they can help each other by sharing thoughts, ideas, writing about them, giving suggestions, and relating experiences that can assist in the journey through life.

Take inspiration from today’s video Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin. You are loved by the Father. You are of so much value that He sent His Son to die on the Cross for you so you can flourish now and forever.

Sure Victory in Life

As we read in Titus 2, Paul explains that each of the various groups within society have different needs and priorities. Each generation or group can help each other by sharing ideas, giving suggestions, and relating experiences that can assist as they go through life.

If our life lines up with the instruction that Paul gives in this passage, those who oppose us will have nothing to use against us so be determined and passionate in what you believe. We may go through a lifetime with great ideas that never get implemented. We may work on projects that never seem to catch on but the most important project to work on is sharing the sure victory Christ gave on the cross.

Like a parent trains a child, our heavenly father trains us. We may fail at times but His grace picks us back up to try again so our character is transformed day by day. Grace keeps on giving as we grow and our faith encourages others.

This day with You Lord, we are thankful for the life transforming relationship with You as we daily take inventory of our strong points and weak points. You turn them into more than we could imagine through prayer. Our best days are ahead because we are the beneficiaries of the past. Your plan for our life always brings victory because Your power is at work today in making the needed adjustments in our character. Amen.

Into the Heart

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8

Within the post “Further the Faith and Knowledge of the Truth” explained is the purpose of Paul’s ministry. Also brought out are the necessary qualities of Christian leaders and their responsibility to false teachers.

Take inspiration from the video Heart of Worship by Matt Redman. Your Faith rest on the hope of eternal life; supported by the love of God and the gift of His Son. May this attribute of your soul be with you always and direct you to think of things excellent, honorable, and disciplined.
