Liberty for Our Destiny

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. – Galatians 5:1

The post “Finish the Race as Champion” explains how our relationship to Christ affects our daily living. Jesus blazed a trail to victory for you and me. There is no need to make things harder than they ought to be but simply accept the victory provided by the ONE who destroyed even death and gave us liberty for our destiny.

This day with God, lift up the name that is holy. Take inspiration from the song Give You Glory by Jeremy Camp and be a champion today. Receive the power to run the race hour by hour and give Him all the glory.

Finish the Race as Champion

Reading in Hebrews 2:5-13, God created us for the high destiny of being a steward of His Creation. Our life goal should be to live it to glorify Him. God became flesh as Jesus Christ in order to free us from the bondage of sin. He has been through what we go through here on earth and He can relate to the human difficulties faced.

Jesus died for the sins of humanity and this gives us courage because we are released from the bondage of death. We can actually look at death as a time of celebration because we have finished the race on earth and have qualified for the next race in which we will fulfill our eternal destiny.

Our relationship to Christ affects our daily living. God’s Plan for Us always brings victory in our life if we let Him in so let His power work today to bring hope to the future. There may be times along the journey that we may feel that we’ve lost our edge but we can find it back if we go to God in prayer and ask for help.

This day with You Lord will be amazing because we have been given the liberty to fulfill our destiny. We are freed from things like fear, lack of focus, and despair. Today is a new day in which we follow Christ to victory and invite others to join the team so they can see how powerful the Good News can be in the life of those who follow Him. Amen.

Amazing Destiny

Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way. – Psalm 119:36-37

The world is full of worthless things but as pointed out in the post “The Way of Truth”, our destiny is recovered by Christ if we accept the invitation of His leadership, help, and forgiveness.

Leaving a legacy should not be our focus but following the way of Truth will lead to an amazing destiny so as the song Only Jesus by Casting Crowns points out, there is only one name to remember and only one life to live. All that really matters is to live for Him.

The Way of Truth

Our attention is undivided as we read Hebrews 2:1-4 and we are thankful for the path provided. Let us be thankful for the ways we are guided as the truth of the gospel gives stability to our everyday decisions.

If we drift away or neglect the truths of the gospel, our wrong choices make a big difference along the journey. The path we follow can be straight and easy or a winding path with many ups and downs.

We were meant to live forever but the fall from grace of Adam restricted our future to the earth but our destiny is recovered by Christ if we accept the invitation of His leadership, help, and forgiveness. By accepting what was done on the cross for us, we have an eternal destiny of life with Him.

Our attention to helping one person at a time makes a significant difference. One act of kindness, one encouraging statement, or one smile. A small deed or choice of words can set in motion a completely different destiny for the people around us and set them on the journey that leads to peace and eternal bliss.

This day with You Lord, we ask for opportunities for us to share about the Way of Truth. May our blogs provide inspiration, offer the truths of the gospel, and bless with a joy that nourishes souls. Amen.
