These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. – Deuteronomy 6:6-7

The post “Love the Lord with all Your Heart” was about relating the Word to your interest. Every conversation you have, every book you read, and every song you hear can have a lesson you can learn and be used as building blocks along the path to a brighter future for yourself and those you know.

Start the day with God by reading the word, praying, and giving praise with songs like Keep Me In The Moment by Jeremy Camp. Then stay in this important moment throughout the day knowing that God is with you in all you do.

Love the Lord with all Your Heart

This day with God will be amazing because we will focus on the Word of God found in Deuteronomy 6. Our attention is undivided and we are thankful for the path provided. It’s a wonderful time for praise in the ways we’ve been guided.

God was with Moses as He led the people out of bondage and God is with us as we walk in faith day by day. Let us go to Him in prayer as we think, make a decision, and take action. There are plenty of times throughout the day to go to Him like before a meal, before giving advice, or responding to an email.

Another way to follow the commands from God is to be reminded throughout the day of His presence. Relate the word of God to your interest. Every conversation you have, every book you read, and every song you hear can have a lesson you can learn and be a building block along the path to a brighter future for yourself and those you know.

This day with You Lord, we put You first in all we do. In our finances, our interest, in our relationships, in the use of our time, in great moments, and in difficulty. You give us lessons throughout our journey that can be used as building blocks along the path to a brighter future. Amen.

The Invitation of Christ Whose Blessings Ever Wait

Keeping God’s commandments for the Israelites resulted in receiving the Promised Land. For us today, obedience continues to be wise and our reward in accepting the invitation of Christ are the blessings that ever wait. Also, join in on the praise from today’s wonderful song “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe.

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. – – 1 Corinthians 2:9

In the post “Rewards for Obedience”, the Israelites were blessed when they followed the commandments of God. The ultimate reward was the Promised Land. In current times, obedience continues to be the wise choice. The invitation of Christ whose blessings ever wait for those who activate the power of faith.

The power is activated by accepting Christ as Savior. This reward is beyond what could be imagined. Take a few minutes to listen to the song I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe. Like the song points out, we can only imagine when that day comes. Will you be surrounded by glory, dance for Jesus, and sing hallelujah!

True Value

The perfect life of Jesus qualifies Him to save all that accept Him. Read this poem to help crystalize this guiding principle of eternal life that brings true value worth more than what could be imagined.

Step Ahead

His sacrifice 
 On the rugged cross 
 Did what the law couldn’t
 And there is gain not loss.
  
 A treasure forever
 That is spiritual
 With true value
 And not perishable.
  
 Taking away my debt
 I begin again
 With unlimited 
 Treasure to win.
  
 That is stable,
 More steady than the DOW
 For eternity
 And available now.
  
 Offering this treasure
 With a big grin,
 I share the riches
 Of this power within.
