It is only when we surrender all and let God take control that there is staying power and meaning.
In life, there’s always a new challenge so instead of taking the credit for great accomplishments, give credit to God. Take inspiration from the song I Surrender All by Oslo Gospel Choir and surrender all so that God is in control. Then life is lived with staying power and meaning.

A take away from the post “Withstand the Test of Time“ is that it is best to accept God’s Way and be obedient to His will so you can build your life on an intelligently chosen path that leads to success.
This day with God, strive to learn His principles, find ways to apply them, and develop discipline within yourself so you can become the best person you can be.
Take inspiration from the song Build My Life by Pat Barrett ft. Cory Asbury. Live for God and not the world so what bounds us is unfurled. Be confident in Jesus who sets you free and is worthy of King for you and me. He shows us who He is and how we should be.

The Vietnam Wall Memorial reminds us of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom much like Christ made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. The solid black granite memorial is solid just as God’s principles to withstand the test of time so we have a solid foundation to step ahead and face the challenges for a brighter future.
This day with God, let us step ahead of the challenges of this world and be blessed by reading His Word in Judges 21 so we are freed with the love from above rather than weighed down by the rules of misguided directives of this world.
In today’s passage, all the men had taken an the oath at Mizpah to not give their daughters in marriage to a Benjamite. This would destroy one of the tribes of Israel and the people didn’t want this to happen. This vow was not from God but from the worldly leaders of Israel.
The people had not learned anything about depending on God. They devised their own schemes to handle issues that came up so in this instance, they decided to destroy the Jabesh-Gilead tribe since they did not follow a vow of supporting their war with the Benjamites. They were confined to their own way instead of relying on the freedom in obeying God’s Way.
God cares for us more than we care for ourselves and He understands our needs more than we do. In current times, we have given over much of our judgment on major issues to certain groups to determine what is right and wrong. Rather than praying for what is best, we take instructions from a secular society that would like to make decisions for us in order to benefit themselves.
Learned from studying Judges, is that Israel had no king in those days. There was anarchy and everyone did as they saw fit. Our King today is Jesus Christ so let us accept Christ in our heart, be obedient to His will, and walk the laid out path that leads to victory. Let us learn His principles, find ways to apply them, and develop discipline within so we can become the best person we can be in order to give Him glory.
Provided this Day with the Lord is the path to victory. Secularism leads down the path to mediocrity that makes us live with fear, worry, and doubt. Today, we live out life that is faithful to Jesus Christ with composure and confidence. We are set free because we reject what bounds us and we accept the Way of Jesus that leads to freedom. Amen
But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. – Amos 5:24
Within the post “Admit It to Fix It” pointed out is that removing Godly principles from our life has disastrous effects. There is a battle going on every day and sometimes there is a need to slow down and depend on God.
God is the one that can truly get to the heart and clear what corrupts the soul. Take in the song Truth Be Told by Matthew West for encouragement. As the song points out, let us admit it and be honest because that’s the only way to fix it.
Let us be honest with God to allow integrity to lead to more freedom. Because of acceptance of Christ in our heart, a fresh flow of integrity will clear the pollution of the soul like an ever-flowing stream.
