Pictures that Uplift

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:31

Like the picture of the two baskets of figs given to Jeremiah as written about in “A Picture May be Worth a Thousand Words”, the One True God is helping you paint pictures that speak life, hope, strength, and freedom into your future. As you lift your burdens to Him in prayer, the weight on your shoulders lightens and your vision grows clearer. Working hand in hand with the Lord, you rise—steady and strong—like an eagle catching the wind underneath its wings. With the Spirit of God, you fly higher with every whispered prayer, every moment of trust, you and God together producing a picture radiant with purpose, promise, and the bright future He has already prepared for you.

Like in the song Fly Like An Eagle by Steve Miller Band, time is a gift, and when we use it to glorify God, it becomes something powerful—something that shapes us and lifts others. Every moment is a chance to apply our faith in real ways, to help people see Jesus clearly, and to encourage them to become all God created them to be. As we live with that purpose, God gives us the strength and freedom to rise above the noise and the weight of life. We begin to fly like an eagle, carried by His Spirit, moving with grace, courage, and clarity. And in that freedom, we discover ways to truly glorify Him.

  1. Mark, congratulations on a terrific insight in your article. I really appreciated the way you brought the topic to life and challenged readers to think beyond the surface. It’s easy to read a passage and move on, but your observations encouraged a deeper reflection on what God is teaching and how it applies to everyday life.

What stood out most was your ability to connect biblical truth with practical living. You didn’t just explain the text, you helped readers see why it matters. That kind of perspective is valuable because it moves faith from theory into action.

I also appreciated the clear, approachable way you communicated your thoughts. Complex spiritual truths can sometimes feel distant, but your writing made them understandable and relatable while still preserving their depth.

Well done, Mark. Thank you for sharing your insight and encouraging others to grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Articles like this help readers pause, reflect, and draw closer to the Lord. Keep up the excellent work!
