A poem posted at my other blog Step Ahead is inspired by “Strength in You” pointing out that you have certain strengths or gifts God has given. Through the Spirit, discover your gifts for the express purpose of kingdom building. God thinks you are AWESOME! Focus on what you can do and not on what you wish you could do. Then what seemed to be impossible will become possible.
As pointed out in the song You Say by Lauren Daigle, the world wants to tell you that you will never measure up but God tells you to never give up. Believe in what God thinks of you. Find your worth, identify as His child, and renew your strength day by day.
This Day With God - A Spiritual Journey 
What about when other Christians are saying you don’t measure up and reject you because you don’t jump on the latest bandwagon? Faith is a lonely road sometimes. This all reminds me of Mad At The World’s song Faith Is A Perfect Road. Their whole Flowers In The Rain album is good, IMO, it may not be your style of music, but Roger Rose really was trying to get Biblical principles out there and reach a group of people that were not necessarily being reached by the mainstream/Bible belt Christian realm. According to wikipedia, he’s a worship leader now. I pray he’s keeping the faith, as he’s has been very instrumental in my life. I would love to meet him and his family.
