Praise for this Day

God’s plan gives each of us the power of the Holy Sprint and when we mix this power with the principles taught by Christ, we each can be led along the path to a future which is beyond our imagination. This day with God, we continue the journey into Psalm 43.

The previous psalm had the theme of putting our hope in God for He can provide a breakthrough. This psalm continues and completes this theme. The psalmist is asking for help because he is oppressed by his enemy. He wants to give praise to God but he is discouraged by his situation.

We all get discouraged and feel down at times. We may feel that there is no way out of a situation but we must keep hoping for better days ahead. Sometimes, an inspirational song or a good memory can switch our thinking and bring a change in our outlook. All it takes is one thought or idea for a breakthrough in our life.

We were made to be with God and to give praise to Him. We can accomplish this purpose by praying, listening, worshiping, and doing good works. In all we do, we can glorify God by constantly improving our habits like eating the right foods, exercising, and looking for ways to inspire others. Building a better life for ourselves and those around us.

Lord, we have every second of every day something that is beyond riches and fame. We have something that gives meaning and purpose forever and that is a relationship with You. Every second of every day, our desire is to commune and praise You in all we do. Amen.
