The reason for believing in the ONE true God and following His way is to fulfill our great destiny which overflows with blessings. To spread our wings and fly higher than we ever thought we could and feeling free to being all He made us to be.
Today, we are reading Job 39 and note that more questions are asked by God to Job. The questions are about who provides for the animal’s needs as they wander about looking for food, as they give birth to the young, survive in the heat of the summer, and the cold of the winter.
We note that God’s power and sovereignty is revealed in nature. The birds of the air, fish of the water, and the animals on the land. We can learn a lot from nature. The giraffe gets food from way up high like God’s word feeds us from way up high.
Even though we live in the age of information, sometimes that information is wrong so we shouldn’t depend on information alone but also use our common sense or instincts in making decisions. Some people have called it a gut feeling!
There has to be a balance between the information we have and common sense. The most important thing to know is that the Creator is in control so follow His will. Our job is to simply find our specific purpose and work at being a precious part of His Creation.
Apart we are weak but together we are strong. Like geese going south for the winter, we help each other along the journey and the Holy Spirit provides a means whereby each individual provides something to the cause of Christ. In return, each member receives the combined strength of the whole. Together as ONE in Christ, the application of our faith then becomes combined excellence and God’s glory is the ultimate outcome.
This day with You God, we are playing our part for Your glory. We have meaning and purpose in sharing the Good News of a future without worry. No one person knows it all so we don’t strive to know everything. Just to know that You are the Creator of everything and You have given us a purpose. We each are working to be a precious part of Your Creation. Amen.
