Desire the Word

This day with God will be amazing because our mood is always lifted by the positive affirmation God gives us through His Word. Let us desire the Word as we continue to grow in faith by putting our attention today on the Word of God found in 1 Peter 2:1-10.

The source of our nourishment is God’s Word and it provides what is needed to grow spiritually. The Word is good for us so desire it for spiritual food that nourishes our soul and satisfies our hunger.

We take in the values of God’s Word and once it is taken in, it makes a difference in our life such as giving initiative, discipline, and improving our relationships. We develop a desire to take in more because we experience the benefits.

These principles become the foundation of faith with Christ as the cornerstone who has provided the way for us to be in God’s presence.  The cornerstone supports our temple were God’s Spirit lives. The cornerstone of our faith holds us together so let us set our aim at being the best we can be and share with others to make an impact in their life too.

This day with You Lord, We have set aside some time and invite You into our heart. Be with us throughout this day providing joy, freedom, and the power to achieve amazing things because of You. What we have with You is greater than prestige or possessions because we have Your Word and Your presence. This victory is worthy of praise and it is one in which we want to celebrate with others. Amen.

  1. Thanks for the insight and morning encouragement. Love this from 1 Peter 2: ” But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

    Blessings for an amazing week.
