This poem inspired by Leviticus 17 was written to encourage devotion to God’s Word, to prayer, and to follow the instruction received from the Holy Spirit.
Blood has importance
In supporting life
So God choose it
For His people to thrive.
For atonement,
He was sacrificed
As blood was shed
By Jesus Christ
Through this sacrifice,
We overcome shame
And are linked to power
That brings praise to His name.
We are justified,
Redeemed, washed, sanctified
And a bright future
Is amplified.
Devoted to advice
Given by God’s word,
During prayer,
As we are spurred.
