Greatest Quality

God is big enough to make the impossible possible so each day we wake up let us start by doing what is necessary; then doing what is possible. Suddenly, the impossible is being done because of God. That’s the life of Moses as we read about the end of his life as recorded in Deuteronomy 34.

God told Moses to climb Mount Nebo so he could see the Promised Land. Then Moses died up on the mountain and the people of Israel grieved for thirty days. Joshua had been prepared by Moses to take over as leader and he was filled with the spirit. The people listened to him and did what the Lord commanded. But Joshua never rose to the level of Moses with all the signs and wonders. The mighty power demonstrated and the awesome deeds accomplished.

Sometimes the most difficult decision is simply to take action. That’s what Moses did even when lacking confidence at first. But he was extremely useful to God as he led His people from bondage in Egypt to the border of the Promised Land.

Moses was always looking forward. Even though he didn’t physically enter the Promised Land, He did see it. Much like our lives here on Earth, we should have a forward vision that challenges the next generation to keep stepping ahead towards all that the Lord has for them.

Just a little bit of faith can have a tremendous impact in the world around us as we take the opportunity to use the hyper-connectivity that technology provides!  As we encounter an extraordinary God, just a little bit of faith is all it takes to do extraordinary things by simply saying “yes” to an extraordinary God.

This day with You Lord, the greatest quality we can have as Your people is faith in You. Just a small amount of faith can impact the world in extraordinary ways. In this hyper-connective world that technology provides, Your power is even greater than in the days of Moses. Because of our acceptance of Jesus Christ, we have grace that powers the future with unlimited possibilities as we pass our faith on to each other in warped speed day by day and from generation to generation. Amen. Bible Study, Possible, Technology, Signs, Wonders, Vision, Faith, Extraordinary, Photo,

Ultimate Reward

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. – 1 Corinthians 2:9

The post “Light to Guide” brings out how God’s Creation inspires us with a sunrise, a sunset, a rainbow, or the first cool morning of the fall season. But the greatest reward is a consistent daily quiet time. It’s not only rewarding for us but it pleases God because we were created to worship Him and be in relationship with Him.

The choices we make many times are for the short term only but accepting God’s Plan for Us changes everything because now we can make a choice for long term gain. If we accept this plan, we make a choice that provides a reward in heaven that is beyond what we could ever imagine much like the song I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe.

Light to Guide

This day with God will be amazing as we read Deuteronomy 33. We are thankful for His provision; grateful for all the blessings we receive. In today’s passage, God is described similar to a sunrise from Sinai which appears each day with light to guide our way. With instructions for actions to take, a vision of a productive day, and encouragement as we step ahead.

God is unique because He gives free will. Rewarding us with as growing faith, His blessings, and His love everlasting. Our assurance of our relationship with God affects the attitude and actions of our daily living. God is big enough to handle the issues of our day giving us confidence to unify around our individual strengths to form one body that is equipped to step ahead of all the things against us.

The photo below was taken at Lake Waco which is about two miles from my house.

Today, we worship the ONE true God who promises a bright future for those who obey. The blessings consist of a future with prosperity, purpose, peace, and a perfect place for us that is beyond what could be imagined.

This day with You God, we are rewarded by Your creation. A sunrise, a sunset, a rainbow, or the first cool morning of the fall season. We give praise for these inspirational moments. Your plan for us in accepting Christ is a choice we make that provides a future beyond what we could ever imagine and we are thankful. Amen.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6

The post “Remnant” explains that even during the judgment of Israel, God limited the power of other nations over them. They had been disobedient but He preserves a remnant because the ultimate plan was to bless Israel again so they could rise up to be the great nation it was intended to be.

It’s the same for each of us as individual. We all have days or even longer periods of time when things seem to destroy what we have worked so hard for. We feel as though bad things are happening and it’s not always our fault but because the world is a broken place.

We must constantly remember that it is in trusting God…

Response to His Love

Some ideas are given in today’s devotional of ways to respond to God’s love. Also, receive the positive affirmation from the song “Love Lifted Me” by Alan Jackson.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. – Mark 12:30-31

The post “Everlasting Love” is about the song written by Moses to remind the people of all the blessings they receive when they praise the ONE true God but are cursed when they worship idols. God’s everlasting love nurtures, extends a hand, and keeps us going in a positive direction.

Some ideas for responding to God’s love are to take in the lessons of His Word, share them with others, and worship with songs like Love Lifted Me by Alan Jackson. Our mood is always lifted to new heights by the positive affirmation God gives us through His Son.
