Knowing the Mystery

My goal is they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. – 1 Colossians 2:2-3

The takeaway from “Deeply Rooted” is that Paul longs for believers to experience the full riches of complete understanding—not just intellectual insight, but a deep, Spirit-led revelation of the mystery of God: Christ dwelling within them. This mystery isn’t hidden to confuse but revealed to transform. In Christ are found all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, waiting to be discovered by those who seek Him. To know Him is to unlock the riches of heaven and walk in truth that anchors the soul.

🎶To receive the mystery of God—Christ in us—is to embrace the grace that restores our broken relationship with the Father. As Matt Maher sings, Your grace is enough for me,” we’re reminded that it’s not our striving but God’s unmerited favor that draws us near and makes us whole. This grace anchors us, roots us deeply in Jesus Christ, and empowers us to walk in victory. When we live from this place of restoration, we don’t just survive — we flourish, strengthened by the One who overcame for us.
