A poem posted at my other blog Step Ahead is inspired by “Desire the Word”. The thought is that the Devine virtues in the Word of God are a source of nourishment for the soul. The Word will satisfy your hunger as you take in the values of God.
Jesus is the cornerstone of the temple were God’s Spirit lives. As the song Conerstone by Hillsong points out, your hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. Christ alone is the cornerstone who makes the weak strong. Because of the Saviors love, the Spirt lives in you so set your aim at being the best you can be and make a difference in the lives of others.

Typo? Christ alone is the cornerstone who makes the week (weak*) strong. That aside, I often think of food types in assessing someone’s teaching/preaching/video/devotional. I say your post is a good meat and potatoes dish or a plate of spaghetti. Nourishing and sticks to the ribs(heart). No phoo phoo cheap white bread here.
