Forgive and Be Forgiven

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. – Luke 6:37

A quality of David we noted in “Stream of Grace” is how he let God be the one to judge and punish. He demonstrates a personality that respects authority, has patience, and there is a pleasing open-mindedness about him.

These are the same qualities brought out in the song Come to the Table by Sidewalk Prophets. Everyone needs to forgive and be forgiven. All of us are on the outside looking in but that is where grace begins. Let us all come to the table and be set free so we can be what we were meant to be.

  2. Pure Glory says:

The forgiveness demonstrated by Jesus on the cross, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” Is such an example for us. We have more for the Father to forgive, than those we need to forgive. I forgive and receive God’s forgiveness. Hallelujah!
