Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God I will praise His Word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? – Psalm 56:3-4
Some thoughts were posted at “Calming the Storm” about how fear can be overcome as we focus on the help of Christ and His unlimited power to calm he storms. Our fears can subside when we rely on this power to calm the storm and are prepared to take swift action with faith.
As the song Voice of Truth by Casting Crowns points out, the world tells us we’ll never win but the voice of Truth tells us a different story. The voice of Truth says do not be afraid but choose to listen and believe.
