This poem was inspired by the book of Leviticus chapter 5. The Bible is all about gaining wisdom because we are learning from the past, praying in the present, and listening for instructions toward the future.
The step to salvation,
Making the choice of Truth
Where grace covers wrong
Made in one’s youth.
The Way of the past
Was not okay
But this new way today
Is to seek Him and pray.
To speak up, be involved,
Asking for help
To the new Way
With one simple step.
To follow Jesus
Step by faithful step
Ready for each challenge
Because of daily prep.
Setting sail on a voyage
As God’s Word guides
With plenty of resources
That He always provides.
