If you are not able to attend your local church service today (traveling, health condition, etc),  I invite you to a podcast of the church I attend. This morning, we continue the sermon series called “Wisdom for Life”.  At this link: Pastor’s Podcast, you can see each message live on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM Central Time Zone. It also can be reviewed afterwards and used for Bible study and small group discussion. Below is the outline of the message for today’s message titled “Wisdom Listens”.

 Proverbs 6:3

“To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance….”

2. HONESTY

“Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.”

  1. Mark, thank you for sharing Rev. Steve Ramsdell’s sermon “Wisdom Listen’s” on Pastor’s Podcast and for citing the link to April Yamasaki’s blog post titled Grace: what is, was, and will be in which she discusses the book I authored, titled Grace is Born. Grace explains that when we look beyond what we can see, and listen beyond what we can hear, we will find our Creator’s image resting upon the face of humanity.

  2. The one that caught my attention was, “FRIENDS, have you caught anything?” I love that He calls us friends. I am staggered at the humility of an all-powerful God who seeks friendship from us, His creation. Amazing! 🙂

So true Tami. The friends we have in our life are so important. The investments we make in our relationships are far more important than the monetary investments we make in life.

  3. Mark, There is one word that jumped out on this post the word humble. This past week I was drawn to this word Humble and Meek to meditate on them and they became my Saturday post. In it was the questions I ended up asking of myself. Thank-you for this post and God Bless, James

Thanks James for sharing. Yes, I enjoyed reading your Saturday post and these words (Humble and Meek) are certainly important in today’s world. We live in an extremely complex world. Only God has all the answers yet many like those in Washington D.C. seem to think they have all the answers.
