Victory Assured

Part of the passage presented in Psalm 108 is also presented in Psalm 57:7-11 and in Psalm 60:5-12 to emphasize the main points and to present them in a little different way. The main emphasis of today’s passage is that we should praise the Lord in song for He will deliver us from whatever troubles we go through. He will accomplish His plans and take care of us in spite of our failures.

Faith triumphs limitations, hope triumphs difficulty, and love triumphs over hate. “For nothing is impossible with God”. – Luke 1:37

Last week was Easter but that’s just the beginning not the end. Jesus would be seen alive many times in the days after that first Easter and this victory gives us momentum because a weight has been lifted.

Today, I found this video and it gives me a lift because I’m amazed at how God gives victory. I hope it gives you a lift for your day. Just click at this link: I’m Amazed  – Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir or on the video below. God Bless!

Be thankful in prayer because we are God’s people and we are on His side. This day with God will be amazing because we can do anything through Him who gives us strength. Praise Him, trust Him, Love Him, and have faith in Him.

About Mark Shields

Mark volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. Each of the studies are designed to help apply our faith in the work place, at school, or at home. Join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.

How shall we sing when we walk with Jesus – a love song, a worship song, a song of might and strength, a song a gentle as the breeze of the Holy Spirit — is it whispered, acapella, face to face, holding His hand — so many opportunities and so many different ways for us to tell Him how much we love Him and how great and glorious is His Name.

  2. It’s true that nothing is impossible with God…why is our faith so little? It’s our lack of faith that hinders us, not God’s ability.

BTW, Thanks, Mark, for linking to my post, “What Should We Do When God Answers Prayer?” I appreciate it.
