My favorite Bible reading this past week was from 2 Samuel 19. David’s men had killed his son Absalom who wanted to take over as king from his father. David was down about his son and needed someone to help get over grieving for his bad son.

Things don’t always work out how we want and that’s when we need someone to lift us up or set us straight instead of bringing us further down. I remember an old TV show called "The Andy Griffith Show". Andy had a way of talking to people in a tactful way and in this one episode, Barney needed some encouragement.
