My favorite Bible reading this past week was from 2 Samuel 15-16. David’s Son Absalom wanted to take over as king and used lies and deception. The lesson learned for me is that it’s important to ask God for help so that we get advice from people with integrity and watch out for those that try to manipulate for personal gain.

David shows us how we should be patient and find comfort that God will get us through those tough times. We should keep thinking about how God loves us. Know that He will bring us through.
