Never Alone

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious hand.  – Isaiah 41:10

As pointed out in “Pulling the Load” God helps us to overcome our fear and provides some good friends to help. We are never alone. When life presses in with difficulty, one of the greatest gifts is the presence of others who care deeply and offer encouragement. Their support becomes a shield, helping us stand firm against whatever foe we face—whether spiritual, emotional, or circumstantial. We are not meant to battle alone; we are called to be allies in the fight for good, standing shoulder to shoulder in truth and love. In unity, we find strength. In compassion, we find courage. And in shared purpose, we become a force that pushes back the darkness and lifts each other toward the light.

Kari Jobe’s I Am Not Alone is a powerful song of Divine presence and unwavering hope. It reminds us that no matter what we walk through—deep waters, raging fires, or shadowed valleys—God is already there, having gone before us. He rallies our spirit when we feel weak, stands as our defender when we face opposition, and strengthens us with His unfailing love. The lyrics echo the promises of Scripture, assuring us that we are never abandoned. In every trial, God surrounds us with His peace and power, whispering courage into our hearts and walking beside us through it all.
