“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
Reflecting on Colossians 1:1-8 as written in “Cornerstone”, our hope is in the Lord. We don’t just wish for changes that are better—we expect it. Anchored in His power and promises, we are equipped to transform the world in every way, bringing light to darkness, healing to brokenness, and truth to confusion. In Christ, we are not called to small victories but to succeed wildly at everything that aligns with His purpose—thriving in love, leadership, creativity, and service. The church, as the living body of Christ, is destined to have the broadest impact of any group in the world, shaping culture, restoring communities, and pointing all people to the hope that never fails.
With our hope anchored in the Lord, let us take inspiration from the song My Hope Is In You by Aaron Shust. This day with God, let us never be shaken, no matter the storms that rage around us. His presence is our refuge, our shelter in every trial, and because of Him, let each of our hearts remain at peace. In the quiet assurance of His love and sovereignty, our soul finds rest—not in circumstances, but in the unchanging character of God. He is our strength, our salvation, and the reason we can walk through life with confidence and calm, knowing we are held securely in His hands.
