He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak. – Isaiah 59:17 

For winning our battles in life, we need the proper spiritual armor to face the enemy like the sword of the Spirit, the shield of faith, and the helmet of salvation.

Noted in the post “The World is a Mess but He Can Bless” after the study of Isaiah 59, incorrect thoughts and actions led down the wrong path. As in the day of Isaiah’s prophecies, the world may seem messy and broken in current times too, but there is a path to redemption and renewal.

Thankfully, God helps us get on the right path. It’s not by getting ahead of others but by letting God get ahead of us that leads to victory. Let us worship today with the song Broken and Beautiful by Mark Schultz.
