As we set sail on a new day, we begin by opening God’s Word. Like a boat’s sails catching the power of the wind, the Word in our heart will catch the energy of the Spirit to push us forward and the Lord will be our captain to the destination of excellence.
Opening today’s Word to Isaiah 33, noted is that the destroyer will be destroyed because God will bring blessings for those that ask for help in prayer. Like for the people of Jerusalem, the appropriate stance is confidence in God to deliver from a difficult situation.
Within the city of Jerusalem, the people were surrounded by the Assyrians but their hope for the future was greater than their fear. In one night, 185,000 Assyrian soldiers were slain by God (v. 17). In the same way, God can destroy the enemy that surrounds us so that our hope for today can be greater than our fears of yesterday.
Many times, we may face circumstances that are difficult, but we can take advantage of the opportunity each day brings to go to God in prayer and dream big dreams together. Because of Jesus, The Spirit is in us, and with God’s helping hand along with some trustworthy friends to assist, these aspirations can become reality. The storm will pass, and we will enjoy blessings that are beyond what could be imagined.
This day with You God, we put You in charge. You are the captain toward the destination of excellence today. Your Word is the mast and Jesus’ arms spread on the Cross are our sails as the Holy Spirit like the wind provides the power. We have the desire, and You provide the power in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen! “Many times, we may face circumstances that are difficult, but we can take advantage of the opportunity each day brings to go to God in prayer and dream big dreams together.”
Blessings.
