A thought from reading John 6:1-15 when Jesus fed the five thousand is that Jesus’ concern and care for people resulted in thousands following him. When they gathered on the side of a mountain, He was concerned about their hunger so He fed them. He didn’t need to say much. He just stayed calm and demonstrated how God’s power and glory could meet their needs.
