Worship in Spirit and Truth

From the post “Accepted”, one thought is that people are not drawn to religion but to excitement for what Jesus has done for us and what He will do for us in the future. The important thing to know is that Jesus can satisfy our basic need which is experiencing the fullness of life. The blessings consist of a future with provision, purpose, peace, and a perfect place for us that is beyond what could be imagined.

This day with God, quench that thirst with the rhythm and harmony of the song Voice Of Truth by Casting Crowns. May today’s lyrics find their way into the inward places of your soul to shape your heart and mind much different than how the world would like to.

Make the lyrics a part of your day today. Some of the lyrics go, “the way they keep on telling me time and time again. “Boy, you’ll never win!” The Good News is that the voice of Truth tells me a different story.

  1. Excellent brother! Love this: “The blessings consist of a future with provision, purpose, peace, and a perfect place for us that is beyond what could be imagined.”

    Shalom!

“Surrounded by a thousand soldiers shaking in their armor wishing they had the strength to stand”

That’s me, and the soldiers are my fellow Christians, some of them the “big boys” of Christianity . So when this “little girl” shows up on the battle field because our Father told me to and I get told to get off the battle field and my weapons are useless and you don’t know what you are doing and what are you doing here in the first place and this is no place for children (as I think some of the “big boys” think I am and maybe there is an element of truth to what they think), but none the less I’m just being obedient. I’m also applying “being a Gideon” and “don’t forget that David was a teenager” and “I Timothy 4:12&13 where it talks about not letting anyone despise our youth.” all this is has been preached about by many pastors and lay Christians; I don’t have fear but anger as I thought we are all suppose to be in this together, and as I said before, our Father has sent me, just like David’s father sent him to the battle field. Expect I know its not just to bring food but slay giants.

I have to carry on with my assignment regardless of who does or doesn’t join me.
