A poem posted at my other blog Step Ahead is inspired by the post “Correct Wrong Assertions” which has a great lesson taught by Jesus. The lesson is to make sure the questions being asked are based on the right premise. If we accept the premise others have, we give credence to their way of thinking which may be off base. Instead, correct the wrong assertion and explain why the question is meaningless.

The Scriptures provide us with the Truth. The world many times offers a false premise. If we accept this false premise, we give credence to worldly thinking which may be way off base. To learn more about the Truth, we need to work together as Christians in studying the Scriptures like the song Come to the Table by Sidewalk Prophets.
