One idea for facilitating the application of faith is the use of inspirational poems because poetry narrows thoughts to a few lines as a tool to help the mind encourage the heart into tangible actions. This poem is inspired by Titus 1 from the Bible as Paul writes to Titus in Crete and they establish churches in that part of the world.
Christian leadership
Includes being faithful,
Always Self-controlled,
Upright and stable.
Taking in the Word,
Discovering the Way,
And applying values
To our life each day.
Faith rest on the hope
Of eternity;
Supported by the love
Of God’s paternity.
Guided by the Spirit,
An attribute
Of our soul
Helping to execute.
With direction
For excellence
And a desire
To make a difference.
