A physical workout requires repeated exercises that over time builds muscle and conditions the body whereas our spiritual body requires repeated thoughts about our love of God. The exercise equipment for Spiritual growth is God’s Word; reading, studying, singing, writing, and sharing God’s Word.

As written about in Psalm 99, God is king over all the nations; holy or separated from sin who loves justice. We can extend holiness by following His principles and worshiping Him. Like a lighthouse that makes no noise but just shines, we can live a holy life by simply doing what we do best and letting our light shine for the world to see.

This day with God will be amazing because His principles never change and this allows us to consistently grow each day. A daily devotional time internalizes His guiding principles becoming an instrument which pushes us to focus on Him in every activity throughout our day. God is holy and He wants us to be the same.

We are made holy in the cross. He empowers us with the Holy Spirit to do what we could not do alone. Praise the Lord for that! Thank you for these words of encouragement to continue daily in His Word, praising Him and allowing Him to work in and through us. God bless.
