I’ve completed my journey through the book of Jeremiah. Lamentations is the sequel to the book of Jeremiah. It portrays the capture and destruction of Jerusalem. Many times our greatest enemy is ourselves. We need to make war against anger, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. Here is a link to a video:  Make War – John

Our weapons to fight this spiritual war are faith, hope, charity, fortitude, prudence, justice, and temperance. The problems we go through in life are not stop signs; they are guidelines and we can still find joy because it is at those times that God will produce a sure sign to success. That sign points
to Jesus Christ our Savior.
