This week I journeyed back into the Old Testament. In 2 Kings 3, the kings didn’t plan very well as they set out for battle. They didn’t go to battle with all the details ironed out. In fact, they ended up running out of water.  It was only then that they sought advice and Elisha gave them a battle plan.

Like Pastor Su talked about in last week’s sermon, the beginning of a new year is the best time to plan. Believe that God has a great plan for you. It all starts with receiving a plan from God through faithful, consistent, and powerful prayer. Listen for ideas; then apply your faith by converting these ideas or plans into action. Whatever skills or ideas you have, believe God can use them to build something important and worthy.
