A BLIND MAN & A NEW VISION
ENCOUNTERS WITH CHRIST
1. EXPECT A SURPRISE
“His disciples asked Him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents,
that he was born blind?’ ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’
said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the work of God might be
displayed in his life.’ ” John 9:2-3 (NIV)
2. ENGAGE YOUR FAITH
“Having said this, He spit on the ground, made some mud with the
saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. ‘Go,’ He told him, ‘wash in the
Pool of Siloam’ (this word means Sent). So the man went and
washed, and came home seeing.” John 9:6-7 (NIV)
3. ENLARGE YOUR VISION
“Some said, ‘He is the one,’ but others said, ‘No, he only looks like
him.’ The man himself said, ‘I am the man.’ ” John 9:9 (NCV)
“The Jewish leaders wouldn’t believe he had been blind,….”
John 9:18a(NLT)
“One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” John 9:25b (NIV)
IN THE WAY YOU SEE
“ ‘Yes, Lord,’ the man said, ‘I believe!’ and he worshiped Jesus.
Then Jesus told him, ‘I have come to judge the world. I have
come to give sight to the blind and to show those who think
they see that they are blind.’” John 9:38-39 (NLT)

How can we enlarge our vision in the way we see ourselves, people, and God? Look through the prism of God’s principles. Observe people living God’s principles and share with others. Tell other’s what works for you. Take at a look of the things around you and point out lesson’s learned. Come up with ideas that can help everyone live better lives.
