As mentioned in “Every Good Thing”, we need to be renewed day by day. By God’s grace, each morning offers a new beginning—a clean slate to love, serve, and uplift those around us. Whether it’s a quiet prayer for a family member, a word of encouragement to a coworker, or a simple act of joy shared in passing, these moments ripple outward. When the people closest to us are strengthened and supported, our own lives often flourish in return. Peace, hope, and the promise of everlasting life grow stronger when we choose to be a source of renewal in someone else’s day.

Every good thing in life — every moment of peace, every spark of hope, every breath of joy — is a gift from the Lord. As The Afters remind us in their song, it’s no coincidence or luck that we are filled with blessings, but the steady help of a loving God. He is the source of all that sustains us, offering not just temporary comfort but the promise of everlasting life. When we recognize Him as the reason behind every good thing, gratitude becomes our rhythm and faith becomes our song.
