Encouraged by Hope

A ship at sea needs an anchor when the waters get rough. It’s the same with us because we need an anchor to keep us grounded and steady during the rough times in life. Read today’s poem for inspiration in being anchored today.

Step Ahead

Like a ship at sea
During a storm
So is our life
Facing much harm.Hope is the anchor
To secure our soul
To meet the main goal
Of making us whole.Our hope is in Jesus,
Our sins are confessed,
He gets us through,
And we are blessed.Entering His presence,
The veil is pulled back
And we pray for guidance
To keep us on track.Without delay,
Each and every day,
We continue to obey
And follow the Way.
