Reading in Genesis 42, Joseph’s dream of many years ago comes to fruition. Have you ever had something occur and you feel like you have been there before? It’s a déjà vu moment and we feel prepared for the challenge. That’s what vision can do for us as we practice the future in the present. This poem is inspired with these thoughts in mind. Joseph had numerous dreams
Those many years ago
And the ability God gave him
Made his prominence grow.
The ability to see the future
Allowed him to be prepared.
Every detail of what was needed
Could be mapped out and shared.
The dreams prepared his mind
For his mind had been there before.
He was prepared for the challenge;
Aware of what to look for.
God works through His people
So as you pray each day,
Question what it is to do,
Take action towards the Way.
Put ideas into practice
By planning out the details.
Knowing the steps to be taken
And ready for any travails.
Like in the life of Joseph,
Dream about the future
And take action to prepare
So all affairs runs smoother.
Every detail mapped out;
All necessary actions taken
So dreams come to fruition
And the enemy is badly shaken.
