Jesus heals a man that could not talk or see. The people are astonished and believe Jesus is the Son of God but the Pharisees said it was through the power of Beelzebub, “the prince of demons” that he was able to heal the man. Then Jesus confounds the Pharisees with logical thinking and offers a lesson on storing up good thoughts so that good overflows in words and actions.
As I read this passage, I’m reminded of a video. Here is the link: Heart of Worship – Matt Redman. My hope is that you will be moved by this video and that it inspires you as you spend this day with God.
May God continue to validate within you the beliefs that bring you to a heart of worship? All it takes is a few good thoughts to overpower an entire army of harmful thoughts and words. Bless your heart and hearts of others with thoughts or words that tell what Jesus has done and continues to do.
Today, part of my prayer is to ask for help in what I think and say so that I speak words agreeable with Christian character.
