Jerusalem collapsed when the Babylonian army devastates her in 586 BC. The leaders had not heeded Jeremiah’s warning and didn’t change course. We win spiritual battles because of the difference maker; Christ whose light of grace keeps shining ahead of us to make sure the path is clear to victory. In prayer today, ask God to search your soul. Ask him to take out what shouldn’t be there.
