Questions for Reflection for Study of Titus

We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this devotional blog has been created to help with regular Bible reading and study even in the midst of these busy times. Here is a link to “Questions for Reflection” to help stimulate thought and offer ideas for applying biblical principles at work, at home, and in all we do.

Here is a link to all the devotionals done so far:

Anyone can join in as we journey together. The concepts presented in God’s Perfect Timing offer ideas for using time wisely.

The lessons of God’s Plan for Us offers a plan to making an impact in the world in which we live.

The reading plan below will be used to hold me accountable to sharing about God’s word. As I share about my study of the book of 1 Timothy over the next few weeks, it’s important to have a plan. I’m thankful that Jesus is God’s plan for us and by accepting Christ as Savior; we have taken the steps necessary to make this day amazing!

Questions for Reflection

Titus 1
To what end is Paul’s ministry directed? What are the qualities of Christian leaders? What is the Christian leader’s responsibility to the false teachers?

Titus 2
What are Paul’s imperatives to the various groups in verses 1-6? How closely does my life line up with the instruction that Paul gives in this passage? How do you put an opponent to shame (v. 8)? What is the effect of the grace of God in your life now?

Titus 3
What should be a Christian’s attitude and behavior in their society? What about the three persons of the Trinity is revealed here? How can you encourage someone today?

Feel free to respond with a short note or a comment about any of the questions above. Also, I welcome any other thoughts or ideas, favorite inspirational videos, photos, or favorite Bible verses. Just add them to the comments or to a Facebook page I’ve set up at this link: This Day With God.
